A CHILDREN'S ACADEMY WAS HELD WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF SAINT SAINT CEREMONIES
As part of the Saint Sava festivities, in the Church of Saint Nicholas in the Old Town, a traditional Children's Academy was held tonight, and the Children's Choir of the Serbian Singing Society (SPD) "Jedinstvo" Kotor, conducted by Ivana Krivokapić, and reciters participated in the program.
The ceremony began with "Sava's monologue", which was spoken by Katarina Krivokapić.
This was followed by a choir performance that sang "This church is our house", followed by a block recitation about the saint. Milica Kaluđerović, Irina Matanović, Lara Lončarević and Lena Krivokapić performed.
The children's choir then sang "Let's sing to Saint Sava", and Sara Milićević, Petra Broćić and Filipa Otašević recited.
Together with the soloists Petra Veselinović and Petra Bogdanović, the choristers sang "Djelo Svetog Sava", then Anastasija Sredojević recited, and the choir song "Sveti Sava" followed, with the soloist Đurđa Vukanić.
Petra Bogdanović, Miloš Marić, Anja Davidovac, Nikolina Kašćelan, Đurđa Vukanić and Vera Čuprak recited.
The choir also sang the songs "Let's spread love", Mileševski anđeli" with soloist Danica Matanović, and then the Kotor hymn "O Serbian young innocent child".
The program, led by Anastasija Sredojević, ended with Vojislav Ilić's song "Ko udara tako pozno", recited by Ivana Nikolić, and "Hymn to Saint Sava".
The musical accompaniment included Ana Mihaljević on the piano and Petar Bukilica on the guitar.
A joint photo session was also held, and all the children received appropriate gift packages.
