AUTUMN MEMORIAL SERVICE ACCORDING TO THE OLD KOTOR CUSTOM
On the feast of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the temple glory of the church at the City Cemetery in Škaljari, today, October 14, the Holy Liturgy with liturgy was served.
Interment of graves takes place throughout the day (except during the service from 4 p.m.).
According to the old Kotor custom, instead of Michaelmas memorial services (Saturday, October 5), the first autumn memorial services are held on the Day of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, but only at the City Cemetery in Škaljari.
Other autumn memorial services (Mitrovske), which this year fall on November 2, are at the cemeteries in Dobrota (Church of St. Vasilija Ostroški) and in Prčanje (Church of St. Peter Cetinsjki).
