In the temple, the elder Simeon took the Infant God in his arms. The elder Anna, the daughter of Phanuel, also recognized the Messiah and announced Him to the people of Jerusalem. And Herod, convinced that this was the New King about whom the Wise Men from the East had told him, sent to kill Him. But the Divine Family was already on their way to Egypt, led by an angel of God.
