A native of Osečko Polje, near Kriva Palanka. His childless parents prayed to God for him. They married him, but his wife soon passed away and he remained a virgin, as he had prayed to God. After much trial, he became a monk in the Lesnovo Monastery. Surrendering to fervent prayer and great asceticism, he soon became famous and many came to him and received healing. Fleeing from human glory, he changed his place of residence. He reposed on Oblo Vrh near Zletovo. After a long time, he appeared in a dream to the monk Ephraim in Sredec (Sofia). His miraculous relics were transferred to Lesnovo, where Jovan Oliver, Duke of Emperor Dušan, later built a large church. Before the Turkish invasion, the Bulgarian patriarch transferred his relics to the Trapezium, where they are still today.
