Then he sent them to Asia, to the governor Antiochus, who became so thanks to their recommendation to the emperor, and he first put Bacchus to torture. They beat him until his soul came out of his dismembered body. They put iron sandals on Sergius, studded with nails, and drove him to the city of Rosaf in Syria, where he was beheaded.
