
Father Momo Krivokapić: My mother was an ordinary woman, but an extraordinary popadija
In memory of the blessed memory of Archpriest-Stavrophor Momčilo Krivokapić, the hierarchal governor of Boka Kotorska, on the occasion of the fifth anniversary of his repose, we bring excerpts from the program "Christian Mothers", broadcast on the waves of Radio "Svetigora", in which Father Momo spoke about his mother - Olga Krivokapić.
Olga Krivokapić was, first of all, a very ordinary woman, but an extraordinary popadija. Ordinary in the finest possible way. She grew up in a classic Boka family, here in the tame Boka, under the church of Sveta Neđelje. For those who know less where Kamenari is, and even less where Jošica is - it is under the Church of Sveta Neđelje, that beautiful church by the ferry, by the ferry. Well, that was the estate of my mother's parents, Olga Mijajlović, born in 1912 in Kamenari. Her parents came down from Kruševica Bijeljica to Kamenari, to Brijeg, as that locality in Jošica is called, or rather Kamenari, although the people of Jošica don't like it when they are called from Kamenari.
