IN THE GATE OF THE CHURCH OF ST. NIKOLE OLOGEN CHILDREN'S CHRISTMAS PARTY

In the gate of the Church of St. Nicholas on Christmas Eve, the "Children's Christmas Eve" was traditionally ordered, which was preceded by a liturgy in the presence of many of the youngest fellow citizens and their closest relatives.

"May you all have a happy holiday today. The Christmas gifts you are holding in your hands remind us of that wonderful night that happened more than 2,000 years ago, when God was born. The God who created the whole world and all of us. When he was born, shepherds came, and seeing that something miraculous had happened, they rushed up and lit the fire. The Christmas gifts you are bringing now are a reminder of that fire that burned that night. It also reminds us to fan those fires in our hearts, as in the song that you heard, which says to make cradles in our hearts and that it will be good and beautiful, then when we will be good people and that way we will please God. That is why we sing that angelic song "Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace, good will among people". The peace of God's Christ is born, truly born," said the archpriest of Kotor-Tivat, parish priest of Kotor, archpriest-stavrofor Nemanja Krivokapić.

He invited those present to the holy liturgy and communion tomorrow on Christmas Day at 10 a.m. in the Church of St. Nicholas.

The liturgy was followed by a litany around the churches of St. Luke in St. Nikola, so that our youngest fellow citizens would then participate in the ceremony of putting up the Christmas tree.
