KOTOR MUNICIPALITY SIGNED AGREEMENTS WITH TRADITIONAL NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS

The President of the Municipality of Kotor Vladimir Jokić today signed financing agreements with traditional non-governmental organizations that inherit the city's rich cultural and musical tradition - the Kotor Bokel Navy, the Serbian Singing Society "Jedinstvo" and the Kotor City Music.

For this purpose, the budget of the Municipality of Kotor for 2025 has allocated 75 thousand euros, and each of the organizations will receive 25 thousand. The decision on the distribution of funds was made unanimously by the Commission for the distribution of funds to non-governmental organizations. According to the procedure, the funds are allocated on the basis of the work program and financial plan, as well as the work report and the financial report that confirm the intended use of funds from the previous year.

During the signing of the contract, it was pointed out that the Municipality of Kotor continuously provides financial and logistical support to these societies in the implementation of traditional events and cultural programs, while President Jokić particularly emphasized their role in preserving and promoting the cultural heritage of Kotor.

On behalf of the organizations, the president of the Kotor Bokel Navy Denis Vukašinović, the president of the Board of Directors of Kotor City Music Vladimir Begović and Milivoje Bakić, the general secretary of the Serbian Singing Society "Jedinstvo" attended the signing. Present on behalf of the Municipality of Kotor were Marina Bjelja, chief administrator, Igor Kumburović, president of the Committee for the Distribution of Funds, and its member Katica Brkanović.
