NEW YEAR'S THANKSGIVING AT THE CHURCH OF ST. NICHOLAS
May the Lord God grant that the next year will be more beautiful and better for us, said the Archbishop's Vicar of Kotor and Tivat, the parish priest of Kotor, Archpriest-Staurophorus Nemanja Krivokapić at midnight at the New Year's Thanksgiving.
"Every beginning is important and often depends on it how something will develop further.
Here we are at the beginning of the New Year, here in the church, at prayer.
This service reflects our relationship towards God, towards other people and towards ourselves.
We ask ourselves where we are and what we were like in the past year and what can be improved in the next year.
We thank God for everything He has given us, both beautiful and ugly, because everything that is from God is for our salvation.
We thank you for everything and pray that next year will be better, which is natural,” said Father Nemanja, inviting us to accept everything that comes to us in 2025, both good and bad, because we know that it is from God.
The Thanksgiving service was also officiated by Archpriest-Staurophor Milenko Jekić and Archpriest Nenad Kalem.
