Open Day: Discover why the "Sveti Sava" High School is the right choice

The Orthodox High School "Sveti Sava" in Podgorica is organizing an "Open Day" on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, in the school premises (Ul. 19. decembra no. 72 - pod Goricam), from 2 to 5 p.m.

This high school invites elementary school graduates, as well as their parents, to come and get acquainted with the teachers, the program and the school's atmosphere: "Are you thinking about which high school to enroll in? Do you want a school that offers more than a standard program? Discover why the "Sveti Sava" High School is the right choice!"

The "Sveti Sava" High School was founded in 2022. The first generation of students was enrolled in the 2023/24 school year. The teaching is carried out according to the educational program for general gymnasiums and compulsory subjects, compulsory elective subjects, as well as compulsory elective contents are studied.

“Our goal is to create a stimulating environment for the development of young people, who will be ready to respond to the challenges of modern society, while not forgetting the importance of preserving cultural and spiritual identity. One of the foundations of our educational system is providing attention to each student. We achieve this through work in small groups, where our teachers devote themselves to the specific needs and interests of each student. This approach encourages development towards future academic status and personal development of students, preparing them for future professional and personal challenges,” states the website of the second Podgorica gymnasium.

Also, students are allowed to attend a lecture by prof. dr Vesko Drašković on exercise and health, and every day they receive the exercises planned for that day via the application.

The plan is for classes to begin in the 2025/2026 school year in a new facility at the Old Airport, the construction of which is nearing completion and which will be one of the most modern in Montenegro and beyond. The school will have eight classrooms and offices for physics, chemistry, computer science, music and fine arts, a library and a sports hall with locker rooms. The high school will have its own cafeteria, school administration rooms and everything needed for the functioning of such an institution. The planned capacity is eight classes (two in each grade), for 200 to 250 students.
