The mixed choir of the Serbian Singing Society "Jedinstvo" (1839) from Kotor is on a journey, as part of which it visits Ljubljana, Trieste and Bled in the period from April 30 to May 4.
"Yesterday (01.05.) we visited the Church of St. Cyril and Methodius of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Ljubljana, the Church of St. Nicholas, the Church of the Virgin Mary, visited the Ljubljana Castle, sights in the city center, and we also had a ride on the Ljubljanica River.
The second day, the choir visited the Church of St. Spyridon in Trieste and, with the blessing of Father Raško Radović, sang a short concert for the visitors present. With Father Raško, we also visited the Greek church dedicated to St. Nicholas, where we were welcomed by Father Georgio, who greeted us after the mini-concert and told us a short history of the church. We would like to thank Father Raško Radović for his hospitality and kindness. The choristers also visited the Gopčević Palace, a famous Bokelj, which houses a museum of instruments and musical instruments and a theater. After spending some free time, the choir also visited the Miramare Castle, which is located in the vicinity of Trieste. The third day of the trip is planned for a visit to Lake Bled," conductor M.A. Mihajlo Lazarević told us.
