His Holiness the Serbian Patriarch Mr. On May 15, 2025, Porphyry and the archbishops, participants in the regular session of the Holy Synod of Bishops, attended a formal reception in the White Palace in Belgrade. On behalf of the Karađorđević royal family, the host of the Council Fathers was His Royal Highness Crown Prince Filip.

Warmly greeting the dear guests, Prince Philip reminded of the necessity of spiritual unity and the importance of preserving the values ​​that the Church has tirelessly witnessed in the life of the Serbian people for centuries.

The Holy Patriarch especially addressed His Royal Highness the Crown Prince Alexander, and thanked Prince Philip for the hospitality shown, wishing happiness and well-being to the Royal House.

On that occasion, Patriarch Porfirije emphasized the deep historical connection between the Serbian Orthodox Church and the Karađorđević dynasty, as well as the importance of preserving unity, peace and identity — a vow bequeathed to us by our glorious ancestors, which remains binding even today, in the life of the Serbian people of Svetosava.
