Calendar for April 15 - Venerable Titus the Wonderworker
From a young age, he loved Christ the Lord and hated the vain world. That's why he left the world, went to a monastery and received an angel's face. Not feeling sorry for himself, he gave himself up to the sorrowful and narrow path of the foreigner. Through great patience, he acquires two basic benefactors: humility and obedience, and in these benefactors he overcomes "not only his brothers but all people". He had preserved the purity of his soul and body since his youth. At the time of the iconoclastic heresy, he proved to be an unshakable pillar of the Church of God. Because of his great humility and purity, God gave him the gift of miracle-working both during his life and after his death. And when he moved to the Lord, he left many of his disciples. Rest in peace in the 9th century.
Holy Martyrs Amphian and Edesius. Easter fast.
