Daughter of the Orthodox Albanian prince Arijanit from the Elbasan region, swastika of the famous prince Đurđe Skanderbeg and wife of the Serbian despot Stefan Branković, Đurđe's son. She shared all the bitterness of his life with her husband, both in Serbia and in exile in Albania and Italy. She raised her sons Maksim and Jovan in the Christian spirit. When her husband passed away, she became a nun and dedicated herself to prayer and works of mercy, as well as to the repair and construction of churches and monasteries. The people call her "Mother Angelina". Her miraculous relics rest with the relics of her righteous husband Stefan and her consecrated sons Maksim and Jovan in the Krušedol monastery. Holy Mother Angelina gave up her soul to the Lord at the beginning of the 16th century.
