The daughter of the Orthodox Albanian prince Arijanita from the Elbasan region, the swastika of the famous prince Đurđe Skanderbeg and the wife of the Serbian despot Stefan Branković, Đurđe's son. With her husband, she shared all the bitterness of his life, both in Serbia and in exile in Albania and Italy. She raised her sons Maxim and Jovan in the Christian spirit. When her husband passed away, she became a monk and devoted herself to prayer and works of charity, as well as cleaning and building churches and monasteries. People call her "Mother Angelina". Her miracle-working relics rest with the relics of her righteous husband Stefan and consecrated sons Maksim and Jovan in Krušedol Monastery. Holy Mother Angelina gave her soul to the Lord at the beginning of the 16th century.
