But the martyr remained alive, and those four dry logs turned green and grew into tall trees, from which many sick people received healing. Finally, Saint Terapont was slaughtered like a lamb, in the time of Valerian, and his soul moved to the Empire, to see the glory of God in eternity. He died honorably in 259.
