The memory of this great apostle and evangelist is celebrated on September 26. But on May 8, a miracle manifested from his grave is mentioned. Namely, when John was more than a hundred years old, he took seven of his disciples, left Ephesus and ordered the disciples to dig a grave in the form of a cross. Then the old man went down alive into that grave, and was buried. When they later opened the faithful grave of John, they did not find any bodies in the grave. And on May 8 every year, some dust was raised from his grave, from which the sick from various diseases were healed.
