Governor of the city of Negran in the Omirite country, in southern Arabia, which was ruled by Dunaan the Jew. Dunaan besieged the Christian city of Negran and told its inhabitants that he would kill them all if they did not renounce Christ, but they shut themselves up. The Byzantine emperor Justin, hearing of this misdeed, sent a letter to the Ethiopian emperor Elesvoy to attack Dunaan, which he did and killed all his army and cut him down. These holy martyrs suffered in 523.
