On the feast day of the Holy Apostle and Evangelist Luke, the "Saint Luke" Orthodox Youth Brotherhood from Kotor solemnly celebrated its Patron Saint Day (*krsna slava*), bringing together members, friends, and all people of good will in the spirit of the Orthodox faith, love, and fellowship.
In his address, the President of the Brotherhood, Dragoljub "Dačo" Vasiljević, expressed a wish for as many people as possible to gather around our Holy Church, preserving the faith, traditions, and spiritual heritage of our ancestors. He specifically invited younger members—as well as anyone wishing to join the Brotherhood—to take part in its activities, reach out to the clergy, and participate in regular liturgical gatherings.
He also highlighted the Brotherhood’s long-standing tradition of humanitarian work. In the lead-up to the major Christian holidays of Easter and Christmas, the Brotherhood—in cooperation with the Church Municipality—visits fellow citizens in need of assistance, as well as the Special Psychiatric Hospital in Dobrota, delivering thoughtful gifts and offering care, support, and brotherly love. From today’s *slava* gathering, a clear message was sent: we must remain united, find shelter under the mantle of our Holy Church, and together nurture our faith, harmony, and mutual respect.
For, truly, only unity saves the Serb!
To all the people of Kotor, fellow brotherhood members, friends, and every family celebrating Saint Luke, we wish a blessed *krsna slava*, good health, peace, family happiness, prosperity, and many descendants.
May the Holy Apostle and Evangelist Luke protect us and intercede for us in prayer before the Lord.
UNITY SHALL BE THE DEFEAT OF THE ENEMY!
Many years!
