As part of the program "From Christmas to Christmas", a Children's New Year's Eve was organized today in the Great City Park.
The Children's Choir of the Serbian Singing Society "Jedinstvo" performed, and animator Žarko Stanišić, known as Žarko Žabac, drew the youngest, but also their parents, into the world of imagination and holiday magic with interesting games.
As Emilija Radulović told Radio Kotor on behalf of the event organizers - NGO "Karampana" and the Tourist Organization (TO) Kotor, about two thousand New Year's packages were provided for this occasion.
"This is the 12th event from Christmas to Christmas and Children's New Year is traditionally held in Kotor. The idea is to cheer up the little ones, so every year we come up with a better and more creative program. This year, with the help of the Protection and Rescue Service, we had a phenomenal descent of Santa Claus and the Grinch in the Great Park, where this reception is held in order to present this park of the future for many such and similar events. The organization was quite demanding. We are glad that a large number of children with their parents are here today," said Radulović.
She reminds that this year, visits were also made to the maternity ward and the children's ward of the Kotor Clinical Hospital Center, as well as to the children's psychiatry, and a visit to the oldest citizens in the "Grabovac" Nursing Home is also planned.
"This year, the Great City Park is a park of generations - a program specially designed for this space, which is suitable for such events. This year, it has been completed with an ice rink that is free for everyone who wants to try it, and there is also a carousel and many more activities that children can do to conjure up all the winter magic, so our idea was to include the Children's New Year in this park, because it is a complete program that lasts until January 17," said Radulović.
Along with exchanging the most beautiful wishes, and the popular ice rink and carousel, the youngest visitors created unforgettable holiday memories.
