Exhibition of ecclesiastical and artistic treasures of Dečan in Paris
His Holiness the Serbian Patriarch Mr. Porfirije received Dr. Nikola Selaković, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Serbia, at the Patriarch's Palace in Belgrade. The minister informed the head of the Serbian Orthodox Church that on the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of the inclusion of the Serbian medieval monastery on the UNESCO World Heritage List, an exhibition of the ecclesiastical, artistic and sacred treasures of the Visoki Dečani monastery will be organized at the headquarters of this special organization of the United Nations for Education, Science and Culture in Paris. .
His Holiness accepted this information with great pleasure and gratitude, thanking Minister Selaković for this initiative and for everything else that the Ministry of Culture constantly does to protect Serbian cultural heritage, especially in Kosovo and Metohija, where it is most endangered.
