The brotherhood of the Holy Imperial Serbian Lavra of Hilandar solemnly and prayerfully celebrated the feast of the Icon of the Most Holy Theotokos. The guest of the monastery brotherhood was His Eminence Bishop Valjevski Mr. Hesychius. The prayer celebration of the Heavenly Patroness and Abbess of the monastery began with an all-night vigil, after which the Holy Bishop's Liturgy was served, presided over by Bishop Hesihije.

The monastery fair was attended by representatives of several monasteries in Mount Athos, as well as monks from skits and cells, priests from the Serbian Orthodox Church, devotees from Serbia and other countries. Elder Damaskin from New Skit sang with his monks in the right choir, while in the left choir the brothers from the cell of St. Nicholas "Burazeri" sang in the left choir. After the Holy Liturgy, a celebratory meal was served in the monastery dining room.

A child's gift to Hilandar

On today's holiday, the Trojeručica icon is decorated with a special gift, a paper flower decoration made by children. Children, aged 5 to 14, participants of the art workshop "In the arms of Hilandar", as part of the project "Hilandar for Serbian children", organized by the Charitable and Educational Association of the Holy Monastery of Hilandar Teofil 1198, from Čačak, made a flower wreath for the Hilandar icon of the Mother of God Three-eyed girl. Receiving the gift, Abbot Methodius expressed his great gratitude to the children for their hard work and love.
