Easter concert of the choirs of the Serbian Singing Society (SPD) "Unity" (1839) Kotor, in the Church of St. Nicholas in the Old Town, is traditionally accompanied by a large audience, and that was the case last night as well. Always diverse and a program enriched with new songs, along with a high level of interpretation, are what make the performances of the "Jedinstva" choirs a cultural event that even much larger circles would not be ashamed of. Deacon Mihajlo Lazarević (mixed choir) and Ivana Krivokapić (children's and youth choir) conducted.
Those present were greeted by the vice-president of the SPD Unity, Petar Bukilica, and the president of the SO Kotor Vojin Batuta, the vice-president of the municipality of Kotor, Stojan Milović, the president of the SPD Unity, Vojin Lazarević, also attended the concert...
The musical accompaniment was performed by prof. Ana Mihaljević, prof. Nikola Vučković (piano) ,  Petar Bukilica (guitar) and Ana Vulovic (clarinet and box).

The SPD Jedinstvo children's choir started the performance with the composition COME, CHILDREN, CHRIST IS CALLING (text by Bishop Nikolaj Velimirović, arranged by Milena Antović. This was followed by the composition EASTER MORNING by Leontina Vukomanović (solo by Đurđa Vukanić). Youth choir member Anastasija Sredojević, who also proved to be an excellent host of the program, announced the song SLAVA TEBI CHRIST. The text was also written by Bishop Nikolaj Velimirović, and the music and arranged by Andrej Andrejević. Solo parts were sung by Đurđa Vukanić, Danica Matanović, Petra Veselinović and Ema Fistrić. The last song prepared by the youngest members of the Society was LJUDI LIKUJTE by Bishop Nikolaja (solo: Đurđa Vukanić, Danica Matanović, Petra Bogdanović and Ema Fistrić)
The youth choir SPD JEDINSTVO started the program with the Easter poem VOSKRESENIJA HRISTOVO VIDEVŠE (Russian tune). This was followed by a song by KIRIJA ELEISON, an unknown author (solo by Isidora Nikolić and Jelena Odanić), then a song dedicated to the Holy Mother of God - VELIČI DUŠA MOJA GOSPODA (Bulgarian hymn), and after it SJAT JESI ŽEŽE NAS. The author of this song is Ljiljana Popović (solo: Isidora Nikolić, Jovana Mršulja, Uroš Bjelanović and Nikola Vukšić). Bishop Nikolaj's song glorifying Christ the Savior and the Resurrection - OH CHRIST - was then performed SWEET, O SAVIOR. The soloists in the song RADUJ SE, composed by Ana Ivanović, were: Katarina Krivokapić, Isidora Nikolić, Jovana Mršulja and Nikola Vukšić).
At the end, the choir sang the most joyful Easter song CHRIST IS RISEN FROM THE DEAD! The verses were read by Ivana Nikolić and Damjan Pajović.
