Today, an Akathist to St. Basil was served in the Church of St. Basil of Ostrog in Dobrota.

The Akathist to St. Basil, the Ostrog Wonderworker, begins with the words "God-bearing Hierarch of the Serbian Church, holy and miracle-working Father Basil, we offer you this song of praise from our sinful and weeping soul. And we pray that you, in repentance, be merciful now as always to the children of this land and protect us from every temptation so that we may glorify you throughout the centuries.
Rejoice, holy Basil, praise of our people!"
