The Monastery of St. Petka in Bunovići will celebrate the temple slava on August 7 and 8 - the feast of the Holy Martyr Paraskeva.
On the day of the feast, on Friday, August 8, the Holy Liturgy, starting at 9 a.m., will be served by His Eminence Archbishop of Cetinje and Metropolitan of Montenegro and the Littoral, Mr. Joanikije, with the clergy.
The celebration of the temple slava will begin the day before, on Thursday, August 7 at 5 p.m., with an evening service, after which a cultural and artistic program will be held.
The Monastery of St. Petka in Bunovići, with a church from the 17th century, celebrated the tenth anniversary of the establishment of the monastery in 2023.
This year, on the day of the temple's celebration, it will be twenty years since the foundation stone for the construction of the monastery's dormitory was laid on August 8, 2005.
