*Saint Moses the Black*, a feature film directed by Jelena Popović, will premiere at the Boka Cinema on Monday (October 5) at 8:30 PM and Tuesday (October 6) at 6:00 PM.

It premiered in Serbia on May 19, 2026, at the MTS Hall in Belgrade, and has been showing in cinemas since May 21, 2026.

The film follows the life of Saint Moses the Black (Moses the Ethiopian), an early Christian saint from the 4th century who transformed from the leader of a dangerous bandit gang in Egypt into a man who found complete inner peace and light.

The story bridges the harsh environment of the modern era and the Chicago ghetto (through the character of a young man named Malik) with a timeless desert tale of repentance, redemption, and salvation.

Cast: The lead roles are played by international actors Omar Epps and Chukwudi Iwuji.

Major global hip-hop names, such as Wiz Khalifa and Quavo, contributed to the film's musical atmosphere. This is a new spiritual work by Jelena Popović, following the major cinematic and creative success of her film *Man of God* (about Saint Nektarios of Aegina).
