Saint Thomas the Apostle - Tomindan
One of the Twelve. He suspected that the Lord had risen. "Stretch out your finger and see my hands; and put your hand into my ribs, and do not be unfaithful but faithful" (Jn. 20, 27), the Lord said to him, and he answered: "My Lord and my God" (Jn. 20, 28). Kockom liked him to go to preach in India. He founded the Church of Christ there. He converted the sisters Tertian and Mygdonia, wives of two princes, to Christ. The betrothed Dionysius and Pelagius, when they heard the Apostle, separated and surrendered the feat. Pelagia died as a martyr, and Dionysius the Apostle appointed him bishop. The prince of Muzdia, to whom Saint Thomas baptizes his wife Tertiana and his son Azai, sent 5 soldiers who stabbed the Apostle and thus he surrendered his soul to the Lord.
Venerable New Martyr Makaria.
