The Montenegrin Littoral Metropolitanate and the Institute for Art History of the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Belgrade are organizing a scientific meeting "Monastery of St. Archangel Michael in Prevlaka and the Metropolitanate of Zeta" which will be held from November 14 to 16, 2024 in Tivat - Prevlaka.

The working part of the scientific meeting will be held on November 14 and 15 in the multimedia hall of the Municipality of Tivat, while on November 16, starting at 8 a.m., His Eminence the Bishop of Diokli, Mr. Paisje will serve the Holy Archbishop's Liturgy in the Prevlaka Monastery, and then at 10:15 a.m., as part of this scientific meeting, a discussion forum will begin, which will be called "Renovation of the Catholicon of the Monastery of the Holy Archangel Michael in Prevlaka: possibilities, limitations, directions".

The organization of the scientific gathering was supported by: the Directorate for Cooperation with Religious Communities of the Ministry of Justice of Montenegro and the Municipality of Tivat.

About fifty scientists from various fields will take part in the scientific gathering: theology, history, history of art, philology, church art, archaeology, architecture, law...
