Christmas concert of choirs of the Serbian Singing Society (SPD) "Unity" 1839 Kotor in the Church of St. Nicholas in the Old Town, traditionally, despite the bad weather tonight, it was held in front of a large audience.

The mixed choir performed under the baton of Mihajlo Lazarevic, MSc, while the children's and youth ensemble was conducted by Ivana Krivokapić.

In front of the Tourist Organization (TO) Kotor, which together with the Serbian Orthodox Church Municipality of Kotor and SPD "Jedinstvo" organized the concert, Director Jovan Ristić spoke, reminding that tonight's cultural event is being held in the distinctive Kotor spirit as part of the manifestation "From Christmas to Christmas".

"It is really a great privilege to have a choir like this in our city and to enjoy its performances for years. It is a great honor and pleasure for me to be able to greet you on behalf of TO Kotor, the Municipality of Kotor and on my own behalf because, as I said, there are not many cities that have the privilege of having a choir like this and I hope that you look forward to hearing what they have prepared. Also, I would like to thank all those who have supported and continue to support the work of SPD "Jedinstvo" over the years, as well as those who gave their lives woven into his work. Thank you to the choristers, thank you to the organizers and enjoy tonight's concert", said Ristić.

The repertoire of the mixed choir included the following works: Mokranjec (Prayers to the Mother of God), Lazarević (Save the Son of God), Bajić (Roždevstvo Tvoje Hriste Bože naš), Arkhangelski (Ninje Otpuskajeshi), Pščednik (It's worth it), Jonatan (With us God), Bajić (Glory to the Most High), as well as Russian traditional chants.

The children's choir performed the songs of Adam and Zupac (New Year's card), Kuts (Christmas Santa is Coming to Town), Stevens (Merry Christmas to Everyone), Christmas Comes from Silver Wings, as well as The Lion Sleeps Tonight (Weiss, Peretti, Creatore).

The youth ensemble sang Christmas carol 5th voice, Rejoice (Ana Ivanović), My mansion and House full of people by Zdravko Čolić arranged by singer N. Vukšić, a mix of folk songs arranged by A. Mihaljević and N. Krivokapić and Christ is born (D. Mirković - A. Ivanović).

Ana Mihaljević, MA, guitar, Jovan Jokić accordion, Anamarija Salamandija violin, Ana Vulović clarinet, Vasilije Ševaljević kahon performed.
