The Catechetical Committee of the Metropolis of Montenegro and the Littoral, in anticipation of the Resurrection of Christ, is announcing a literary competition with a prize on the theme “Peace be with you”.

At a time when we hear news of wars and suffering every day, when we witness increased peer violence in schools, what we need to instill in our hearts are the first words that the Risen Lord addressed to his students: “Peace be with you”.

Prose and poetic works are welcome, which will be judged in three categories:

Age up to 11 years
Age from 12 to 14 years
Age from 15 to 18 years
The work should be typed in Cyrillic script in a "Word" document, font "Times New Roman", 12, up to 3,600 characters (up to two typed pages), with information about the competition participants (name, surname, city, name of religious education school, age and contact phone number of the author or religious teacher).

The works should be sent to the email address: kancelarija.katihetski@gmail.com by April 20 (Shrove Monday), and the results will be announced on Myrrh-Bearing Sunday, April 26, 2026.
