His Holiness, Serbian Patriarch Porphyrius, announced last night during a lecture by the highly venerable Archimandrite Ephraim, abbot of the Holy Imperial Lavra of the Vatopedi Monastery, in the crypt of the Church of Saint Sava in Vračar, that with the love and blessing of that great elder of the Church of God and his holy family, the Honorable Belt of the Most Holy Theotokos will remain in Belgrade until Friday, June 5, 2026.

– I have good news for you, brothers and sisters, from our elder Ephraim. Given that these days you show so much love for the Most Holy Theotokos and spare no time and effort to stand in the sun for hours to worship Her shrine, the good news for all of us is that the Honorable Belt of the Most Holy Theotokos will remain in Belgrade until Friday – said His Holiness Patriarch Porfirije.
