The "March Remembrance" campaign continues until Vidovdan

The Metropolitanate of Montenegro and the Littoral, the Eparchy of Buda and Nikšić and the NGO "Pandurica" are continuing the "March Remembrance" campaign that was started because of the great public interest and the importance of the days ahead. The action will last until Vidovdan this year and includes the distribution of badges in the form of Kosovo peonies as a memory of the March suffering of the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija during 2004 and previously in 1999. The action "March Remembrance" snatches from oblivion the demolition and burning of Orthodox shrines in Kosovo and Metohija, over 2,000 killed and over 200,000 expelled people from this area, but it does not forget the victims of Albanian civilians, women and children who were killed by NATO bombs. The Metropolitanate of Montenegro and the Littoral, the Eparchy of Buda and Nikšić and the NGO "Pandurica" remind that all this suffering, and especially the pogrom of 2004, happened in the middle of Europe, in the 21st century and under the auspices and alleged protection of NATO military forces.
At the same time, we draw the attention of those who are deciding the fate of Kosovo and Metohija today that not a single just solution can be made without the protection of the Serbian Orthodox holy places in Kosovo and Metohija, as well as without resolving the status and rights of the non-Albanian population that still lives in the enclaves there and is exposed all kinds of pressure and violence. Also, a just solution to the conflict in Kosovo implies the possibility of the return of the mentioned number of exiles, and finally - the provision of peaceful rest for those who today rest in the destroyed and desecrated Orthodox cemeteries in Kosovo and Metohija.
The distribution and sale of Kosovo peonies will be organized through parish and monastery churches of the Serbian Orthodox Church, and the collected money will be used for humanitarian purposes and to help those who suffered and are still suffering today.
By publicly wearing a badge with the appearance of a Kosovo peony, we will remind citizens, Europe and the world of the injustice that requires a peaceful and satisfactory solution. A certain number of badges have already reached America, Western Europe and all parts of the former Yugoslavia.
