During his visit to Kosovo, the US special envoy for the Western Balkans, Gabriel Escobar, also visited the Serbian Orthodox monastery of Visoke Dečane, and on that occasion he met with the Bishop of Raško-Prizren, Mr. Theodosius and the abbot of the monastery, Father Sava. Mr. Escobar was accompanied by American Ambassador Jeffrey Hovenier.
Bishop Teodosije introduced Mr. Escobar to the new situation in Kosovo and Metohija, as well as to the problems faced by the people and the Church in these areas.
