In Nazareth, they stayed in the house of a Jewish woman, a virgin, who kept the robe of the Blessed Virgin Mary in a secret chamber. By touching this rice, many sick people were healed. Galvius and Candide took this shrine and brought it to Constantinople. When they announced this to Patriarch Gennady, great joy arose in the imperial city. Riza was then ceremoniously transferred and laid to rest in the church of Blachernae, which was built by Emperor Marcian on the shores of the Gulf of Blachernae, which was named after a certain Scythian duke Blachernae who died there.
