His Eminence the Archbishop of Cetinje and Metropolitan of Montenegro and the Littoral Mr. Joanikije received on Wednesday, August 7, in the premises of the Metropolitanate in the Cetinje Monastery, His Excellency Mr. Joost Reintjes, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Montenegro on a non-resident basis, on a farewell visit.

Ambassador Reintjes, after several years of diplomatic service in Serbia and Montenegro, is leaving for a new duty and yesterday, at his own request, he also met with the Metropolitan, with whom he had several meetings in previous years.

Ambassador Reintjes shared with the Metropolitan his pleasant impressions from these areas, with the hope that the relations between Montenegro and the Netherlands will continue to improve, especially in terms of tourism, in which the ambassador recognizes great potential, stressing the possibilities of cultural, historical and religious tourism.

The Metropolitan wished Mr. Reintjes every success in his new position and in his personal life.
