With the communion of numerous believers, today, in the Church of St. Basil of Ostrog in Dobrota, the liturgical celebration of Vidovdan, a special day for our people, was held.

Speaking about Vidovdan, which has remained deeply embedded in the consciousness of the Serbian people since the Battle of Kosovo, the death of Prince Lazar, until today, Archpriest - Stavrophor Milenko Jekić praised the attitude of the parishioners who accepted children from Leško, an urban settlement in the municipality of Leposavić in northern Kosovo and Metohija, with open hearts, providing them with accommodation, food and a tour of Boka.
"The children have just left for their homes with the parish priest of Orahovac-Perash, Father Jovan Vasić. I hope they are full of beautiful impressions and that they will have something to talk about," said Father Milenko.

St. Vidovdan is celebrated in all churches of the Parish, a service is held to commemorate the heroes of Kosovo, in the neighboring Church Municipality of Grbalj today is the Vidovdan Assembly, and the Podlastva Monastery is celebrating the feast.
